Happy New Years guys. Things are going good. New job and new Build. One i can actually stick with now that i got the funding. 1951 Ford F3. Just got her home monday after work. I will get more pictures of it. soon. Getting a phone that will take pics this weekend. Here she is. I plan on trying to get the flat head running. Its loose. Got the 4 speed. it has a PTO dump bed. Im hoping everything is in pretty good condition underneath. Because I'd like to keep everything Except for the original rear end. I'd like to find the rear end out of a 67-72 F250. I believe they are dana 60 rear ends with 4:10. And leave it the body the way it is. but its going to be an awesome learning experience on that flat head.

Bunch fords?

RR94 looks like solid truck. From first pictures looks like several more tha seller may have. Does he have any F5 or larger from same era? Do you mind saying what you paid? Good luck w the build.

F-6 was the largest with a traditional cab style. Next size up was the COE style.
Cabs are all the same for the F-1 thru the 6. Front sheet metal was made larger to accomadate the bigger tires and of course the frames were made bigger and heavier. My build started with an F-6 cab.

It's going to be a nice project.
Torchie.
My bad. They went up to F-8 with the standard cab. The semi's of their day.

I paid $800.00 for it. He collects these from auctions and barn finds. he bought this 52 F3 In the same barn mine was in. He has a 51 Ford F2. a 51 F1 with no title. He has an old mack he also has a 48 F1 with a title im currently buying from him aswell. with the original 6.

Sorry i havent been posting anything, I just got a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali and i have to pay them pesky sales tax before I can play with the truck :( GOOD NEWS though. I was tinkering with the flat head in the 51 and I I hooked up a make shift tank for now. Hooked it all up and got her running. Not just popping off anymore but actually running haha [cl

I was wondering if the 4 speed in my truck would hook up to this 292... and where could i get motor mounts?
