Always loved them. Those engines went to Rover in England and were the favorite project motor there for years.

I saw one at a show , couple of years ago,it was nice. Also,I was watching a log cutting race and somebody was using that king of engine on a chainsaw.

A buddy of mine in high school had the Olds, it had the supercharged engine and alky injection from the factory. It was really a cool car.

never heard of a 221 motor both olds and buick had 215's and yes some minor differences. there was also a pontiac in that body style. i know the pontiac had the trans in the rear but not sure on the buford and the olds.
