Hey.
I think im gonna splurge and buy the kilduff shifter.
You can get em in 12...16...24 inch tall.
Ill put a pick of the 24 inch up but I took a pvc pipe and took pics with it at every heighth. What do you think on heighth?

If this shifter is gonna have 4 levers, 3 of which are going to be the length you're asking about here, then go short. Looks like lots of items moving around in an already crowded place to me...jmho!

If they are for show, go tall, and use the little lever for shifting.
If you are going to use them, shorter shifts faster.
If you want them up in the air, make the mount higher and you still have the short throw when shifting.

For me, I would be using the shortest lever, and mounting it where it is comfortable to use. Bam! Squeal. Bam! Squeal. Bam! Squeal. [ddd :D
But that's just me.

Thanks all.
its not at all a hot rod. Mainly just wanting a low koolcruiser. Eventually id like some more power but it will never be more a racer than a cruiser.

If it's more cruiser than race, then why the race shifter? Looks completely out of place IMO. The one on the column works great, fits the car, and is free. Save your money. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's how cans of worms get opened...
