My premie twins

Boys were born at 28 weeks and weighed just above 2 lbs. Both are healthy and doing well. Going to be in the hospital until july

Wow, that's a long time, but they have to get them up to a certain weight before they can come home. I forget how long our twins were in the incubators but I think it was a couple of weeks. I remember the first time the nurses brought out both of them for my wife and I to hold. I was scared as h***, I was afraid I was going to break him. He gave a sigh and quit breathing and I panicked and called the nurse .She said "Relax Dad, he is just napping !"

Well, we made it two weeks, but today the boys were life flighted to Little Rock Childrens hospital for lung problems. Stress.

Sorry to hear it. Hope things go well.

Sounds like you have good, medical people caring for the twins. Someday those boys will be wrenching right along with you.

It's scary but it happens to premmies. We went in one morning when our kids were still being kept at the hospital and the nurse said "We almost lost Dan last night" ! He also had respiratory problems, but he pulled through and so will yours. We are praying for them every night. Please keep us posted.
