So after four years on craigslist, we were able to trade the chopper me and my dad built. And we ended up with this. A 26 T pickup. Small block chevy turbo 400 trans. Runs ok but I got a spare 302 calling this ones name...

We actually took those shocks off today and all it did was make it steer better.

I'd be careful, death wobble typically happens when you hit a bump. Mine were always on the right front! Can't imagine any other reason for that setup but really dig the truck! Congrats!

Thanks for the help. It has just about perfect caster angle. And no death wobble. From what I gather the idea was that the shocks were to help the steering wheel return to center after turning. It did not work at all. Just made it harder to steer. Drives very nice without them.
