As I was picking through the cut drop pile for something I heard the sound of a healthy SBC roll in. I saw this wheel over and park. The owner then came over to pick through the bin as well. Not a bad set up with C4 vette suspension front and back, 355 sbc and a 4 gear. A couple of engineering issues but over all a good driver.
So this drove in at the steel yard...

Looks like a '37 or '38 Chevy... with a '32 FORD shell.

on the rear end he mounted the radius arms to a large bolt in single shear and it goes through the frame rail with no inner sleeve. You can see where the bax tube is starting to collapse and the bolts are starting to give from the forces. You can just see the end of the bolt in the 3rd pic ahead of the top shock mount. The rest looks pretty good.
