I started off with an old hand laid fiberglass body that I had been storing for about 12 years and the farmer who had it before me had stored it many more. I'd say it was probably made in the 70's and needed some repairs. So I built an entire steel skeleton for the body and my dad glassed it in and fixed the problem areas. Then I made a steel inner body to hide the skeleton and we molded it to the outer body so everything is seamless and strong. I hand fabricated the entire frame, the ladder bars, the friction shocks up front, the grill insert and shroud, the windshield posts, air scoop, and many other things on it. The engine is a camed 307 sbc with an assault racing dual plane air gap intake, carter afb comp series carb, holley fuel pump, finned aluminum valve covers and oil pan, and aluminum radiator. The trans is a fresh built 350th with a shift kit. The rear end is a camaro 10-bolt posi with 3.90 gears. Drum brakes on the rear and disc on the front. The straight axle is a model A axle with a new disc brake kit with new spindles and kingpins and all from speedway motors. The steering box is a 1972 BMW box that's ran up under the dash for cowl steering. The steering column also came from speedway and has a quick disconnect on it. All the lights work and it even has turn signals. The wheels are Cragar Deluxe series wheels. It has 15X10's in the back and 15X5's in the front. The tires came from Towel City Racing Tires.

The car is an absolute blast to drive. I've driven it all over my home town, through country roads and over railroad tracks. I've never had any problems with it bottoming out or going into a death wobble like many people complain about with these types of cars. I've also taken it out on the highway and had it cruising around 80mph. The car flies! I love driving it, but pretty soon I'm gonna have to let it go so I can build another car.
