I need your advice! The only way to chop a top of my F1 its split in four parts? Is there any way to do it without chopping the roof in 4? Help!

The short answer is no :(
As it gets lower it also gets wider and longer. You might get by with cutting it in two pieces by leaning the A post back but that only works on a mild chop.
Also what i do instead of filling in with long strips i just do the outer edge around the cab and fit a donor roof to keep the curve stockish.
Someone else here might know more about it than i do, won't be the first time.
Hope the pix help a little.
Good luck

Torchie, this your cue...

.

Thanks Crank.....:D
You can chop it with out cutting into 4 pieces.
Mine had a 4" chop and I left the rear window stock size and just lowered it down.
Split across from side to side results in a 2" gap that gets filled.
Or you can chop it and lean back the A pillars and not split the roof at all.But I didn't really care for that look.
AS far as the width goes I sliced the inside of my doors at the belt line and jsut leaned them in. It doesn't take much.
There are several that have been done on here.
Look for my thread or gold03. dirtyrat and others.
GJunctionmike did his with the pillars layed back.
Here are a couple of pics. The one show the gap in the roof.
Torchie
Mine is listed as a F6 but the cabs are the same.

i do mine in 4 parts. to me they look better. i dont like to lay the window back as it looks odd to me on that cab style. my 49 ford car on the other hand got the rear window layed down and the pillars back a pinch
