They call me Dave. I'm an old guy-69. Live in South Jersey, down by the bay.
Grew up in the 50's. Hot rods and girls sure put a hurtin' on my education.
I've worked as a diesel mechanic, millwright, auto body repairman, mechanic in an electric motor repair shop and maintenance mechanic. I'm retired now but still enjoy working on my old trucks, trying to keep them on the road.
It's been a pleasure to see rat rods being built. It's like the 50's all over again, but with stronger motors and better equipment. The spirit though hasn't changed and I hope it never will.
I've never built a rat rod, but I hope to some day. I want one just like all ya'll are building
