Hello every one.
I have not been on in a while. My last project is in builds and is Gothic bike and I just finished a 1947 ford pickup running in original patina. I put a 427 side oiler , big shaft top loader and a currie fab 9 in it. My real love is Mopars and I plan to build a pickup with with a 426 Hemi . I would die for a straight rust free individual that is not over restored . Something I could run in patina. I know this is an extremely tall order and I don,t expect any body to give me one. I would also consider 1936 to 1938. Any help any leads would be greatly appreciated. I will try to post a couple of picts of the ford I just finished.
Thanks for a great site
Joe

Really cool builds, Joe. Sorry I can't help you out with the Dodge pickup you are looking for. Here's a '30 Dodge I picked up. Needs some attention.

Thanks for the and sending me pict of the 30 and nice words. I am not not much for body work and mainly fab and chassis . That is why i am willing hunt all ends of the earth for my starter truck for the project.

1937 Dodge with straight 8

Thanks Bruno.
I really enjoyed building the bike. That is an all modern S&S 93" retro shovel. Has a alternator left side case.
I thought your vision on the 37 was next to none. Your attention to quality and detail is amazing. I would love to know more about it.
Joe

I have just what you're looking for, Joe, but I rather like it myself, so it's not for sale.
Bruno's truck is the one for you. Grab it.

Mercurymac and Bill

As for you Mercurymac . That is very cruel to show a man something he so desires and cannot acquire. LOl Just kidding There has to be another one out there somewhere.
Now Bill is a lot nicer. LOl Thanks for the kind words Bill and I see you are a molar man. What is the status of Brunos build?

Joe, I was so busy pokin' at you that I forgot to say that I really like your '47 truck. I bought one of them when I was a little kid and have had it 'off and on' for the next sixty years. I started to rebuild it and gave up when I encountered some problems.

1947 ford

Mercurymac
No worries. I enjoy a bit of joking around as much as anybody. Love your 47 and it appears that it might have a twin I beam as I see a coil spring in the front of it. Love that pole bard full of autos also. I know with a little patience I will find a truck. I missed a beauty in Vgas, I was not aware how rare these series of trucks are and let it go by.
Take care

Yes Joe, it has a '73 Ford front clip under there. Some of that worked pretty good and some of it did not. The width is too much to stay under the fenders and the steering box comes out right at the corner of the cab. I gave up on this before the 'steer clear' system was out there.
The '42 to '47 trucks are not as sought after as the rest of them, but I like them a lot.
