Anyone here have or tried the rebel? I've seen reviews saying its a great duel purpose mig/tig welder. I have a Lincoln mig now and sometimes I'd like to tig as well. So basically I've considered selling the Lincoln for something like a rebel or possibly just get a tig unit and keep the Lincoln.

yep used to sell ESAB welders a few years back...

from memory its European machine.. just had a look at them -->

looks like an Inverter machine.. mig stick tig, id say go for it, currently we sell Lincoln , and would say comparative quality unit or better

ask your reseller if there is anyone they've sold one to you can ask their opinion ..

my experience, bit on the pricey side (here in New Zealand) but worth the money

I've used ESAB machines but never owned one. (Good quality stuff in my opinion.)

My first concern with any machine of any make is... support. If I can't get consumables, replacement parts or service locally, it's useless to me.

I agree with Old Iron. I murdered a circuit board in my MIG once... 7-10 days for a replacement but my TIG/STICK machine kept me working. :D
