Just checked out your build for the first time. Lovin it! From the floor pan to the Spider. Chop also looks great. Will keep an eye on this one. Good Job!! Did you use alot of bondo on the cab. Reason i am asking is my chop on my 41 is going to need a lil. LOL and hope it turns out half as good as yours does.

Thanks, My chop came out really well but I made a vital mistake. I sandblasted the cab after the chop and it put a dip back in the roof that would not come out. So I wound up fiberglassing the center strip then bondo so there is a little more than I wanted.

Well I took a little break from the bondo. The Fedx and UPS men paid me a visit. Now I have to pick up some more alum cans so I can put me some tires on this thing.LOL

A big THANKS guys, some times I feel like pulling my hair out and other times Ill spend hours on this thing. Its nice to know that my hard work and imagination is appreciated.

I got my driveshaft back from the chop, I cut off about 3ft and put on a 69 rear yoke. I used the 96 shaft with the carrier so I wouldnt have to make my tranny hump any taller than I had to and would let the rear axle have full travel on the bags. I probably broke all the alignment rules but I think its gonna work ok.LOL

A 53 has a wide enough jamb to use a store bought hinge. Make sure everything is squared aligned before cutting.
