A trip to Auto Candyland.

Here it is boys and girls, just like I promised. Photos from John's Auto Salvage that I took Saturday afternoon. I got there at 12:50 PM and he closes at 1:00 PM on Saturday, so I had to take these photos through the fence. Can you imagine what's down in back in the 40+ acres. Some of these photos can be enlarged and you can see the very first line of many rows of cars. I'll get some photos of them later. About 95% of his (whole) cars have titles, and about 50% of those still have the original keys. What you see here is priced between $1,000 and $2,000. What's in the back lots are for parting out and his prices are reasonable, and he does ship.

Wow, what a gold mine Lakota. I sure wish there was old tin like that here in South Florida. I guess I'm better off though. I would have so many projects on the burner that I wouldn't know what to to. I'd love to walk through that place. Thanks for sharing.

Keep this place in the back of your mind...When you need body parts he ships. He also does lay aways. Plop a couple of hundred down and pay weekly or monthly, and he puts it away until it's payed for. If theres something you need or want me too look for, I can go there and get lots of photos, and you can negotiate over the phone with John.
