bought a roadster thing

Got it from a friend. They said it ran when the took it out. It sat at his place about 2 years and then I got it and it sat here about 2 years.

Update!!! So I took the v8 out of the c10 so I could put the 6 in and just get it running from in the truck. I got the v8 out and set it in the roadster and it fits!!!! Lemme see if I can get a picture to load.

That thing should be a hand full.

Hope so! Main limiting factor though will be that opel rear. I'm gonna try it and see how long it lasts.

Yeah that's what I'm figuring. One day I'll get over zealous and grenade the pinion gear. A friend of mine said not to spin tires if I'm going less than 30mph. That, he says will keep the rear end intact. Worst case I break it and have to put the mustang rear end in it. It's just like 3 inches wider.

So plans have changed drastically on this car.
the inline 6 for the c10 is coming out because I can't find motor perches for it. We are putting the v8 back in the truck and I'm currently talking to a guy on Craigslist that has an opel engine for sale. I haven't been able to find one of these engines locally until now. Hopefully he will get back with me and we can make a deal. The engine e has been sitting for about ten years but I actually found one. He wants $200 for it. Does that sound reasonable? It looks like from the pictures there may be a transmission with it.

So this is back from the dead! Didn't realize I've been keeping you all in the dark! I ended up buying a complete drivetrain and a pile of other parts for a 69 opel gt and I've been slowly changing all the parts over to the car since they match. Over this weekend we got the rear axle sort of installed and we are nearing time to mock up the motor and trans.
