trailer fenders on rat rod?

I think I found this in a bike building forum, but for those brave enough to try, here is a page showing how to use those arbor presses for creating fenders. I know this would take some work, but someone here might find it interesting for say front rod fenders especially for those places that require them.

Got to the shop today and got a couple pics of the fender mounts for ya. We used 1/4 flat bar to build the mounts. After test fittin them we then mounted them to the drum by drillin two 3/8 holes and welding a bolt from the inside out. Then if we want to change the look a bit just un nut the the bolts and remove. These fenders are mounted to the front wheels, don't know if that is what your thinkin but hope this helps ya out a bit.

u can get motorcycle fenders from J&P CYCLES that about 9" wide and longer
than the trailer fenders. metal & cost about $75.00 or so. if u don't like
the look you can return them. i think they would look much better than
the trailer fenders.
