Frame

Well I finally finished the chop, and now I am working on the frame. I have 40 Ford front axel, and a 9 inch ford rear. A friend of mine gave me a 283 w/ power glide complete, or 265 or 327 or 350. I plan on making my own front and rear link suspention with maybe air bag. Well any way here is my chop with my frame material. Oh, by the way the steel was 490.00 WOW!!!!!.

Frame

I got my frame welded and I am going to start building my suspention pieces. my buddy and I spent alot of time on the plasma cutter cutting those pieces out of the plate steel. I cut everthing free hand using a pattern marked to steel. Should have a good moch up by this weekend. Special thanks to Wes for grinding most the day!

The hard work you and your friend put in was worth it, that thing looks menacing the way it sits right now! Keep up with the fine work.

Grill

I mounted the grill today, I am not quit satisfied with how it looks. I thinking of modifing to look more like a 39. Bought my front air bags but cant get started yet ( still waiting on parts) 2 weeks. Well anyway here is some picks with the grill.

Wow , I like the grill. It really makes the truck look mean. Maybe bring it in a little on the ends?? Take one rail out per side? It may make it look a little more sleek. But I do like the way it is looking now.
