finally got a new battery for the mini
night shot with the lights on

the cruise main power and aux light switch that im removing because its ugly

the new switches,
the cruise power switch is from a 2004 civic
and the haz switch is from a 2000 civic

haz switch wired up

went from a 5 wire haz switch to a 8 wire switch, made it work

removed the stock air bag steering wheel

rear tail lights are wired up

for some reason last night the brake lights aren't working

so I have some t/s to do on that system

I added a rear fog light, but its a stock Harley light

painted the chrome od green to match the shell

the left side is going to get a smoked clear cover light, for the back up light

and im going to use another red cover one as the 3rd brake light

had to do some minor adjustments on the shifter electric switch to make the back up light work

It’s quick for street driving, but slow for 1/4 mile time

It’s more fun on the street with 130hp vs the other motor

The other motor I had made 175hp
This motor wasn’t as fun on the street, but it was a lot faster and
Had a lot more tq and pulled a lot more rpm

the auto gearbox is geared good for the street and the size of tires
Motor power more work to drive equals less fun and less smiles

130hp should do it allright :D
I had a mini with a souped up 100hp 1300 tomaso motor and 10" wheels... no one came close to keeping up with that around town. Most fun car I ever had, hands down [cl

Sounds like a lot of smile time behind the wheel

bench racing

I put the sliders on the seats today and that was it
not feeling to well right now

back up light with headlights and running lights on, key on, engine off, aka 12v

single back up lamp with a 1157 bulb, with the two sides wired together,

I think a single light puts out a good amount, I dont feel I need to add a 2nd one

all lights off besides the back up....engine off, key on and put it into gear to turn the back up light on

I ordered a pair of these mirrors

I dropped this mirror when I was tapping it up to paint it

it was one of those days for me, I broke this glass and then ran the paint on the other mirror housing......

wow that backup light sure is handy

the original tails lights in the car had back up lamps in them but I didn't like the look of them

so I changed out those mk4 and up lights out for some mk2 lights that dont have the backup built into them, I think they are cleaner

and the back up light I have now is just a stock Harley light, 1157 bulb, I wired the two lights together

mounted mirrors

steering set up, I changed the chrome color bolts for some black color bolts

getting in and out of the mini is a lot easier now, without having the steering wheel in the way,
and the flat bottom wheel gives me more leg room
