Enough daylight left lately if my buddy gets off on time to make a lake. We went again a few days ago. Running small but always fun.

I see you have those noisy sand hill cranes at the lake. Beautiful sunset. Nice to relax and catch some fish as a bonus.

Yessir, the cranes are usually escorting the young right now. There are two little fuzz balls in that shot.

Funny, we've got a nesting pair in the wet land near our house. Some must migrate and other not.

Your Sandhill cranes got me thinking just like BobW, some must migrate and some must not. I heard some getting here, about a week ago. They probably haven't started to nest yet. Sandhill cranes are quite quiet compared to Canada geese and Trumpeter swans. All of these have just arrived here in the last two weeks.

I'm sure everybody has some that stay local. I'm also sure that down here we have a large crowd that never goes anywhere. I live on water and they are here all year.
