Oh how I wish stock car racing was still raced with stock cars. I have a couple of old AMC Javelin magazine ads framed up in my garage and one of them was touting a new spoiler that they were offering because their driver (Mark Donahue) wanted it on his stock car and they had to sell 2,500 of them to the public before he could legally do that. To know that you could watch the race on Sunday and literally go and buy the same car on Monday must have been something else. It would be really neat if they still did that.
