I too learned something 
C4 trannies are hooked to the engine and C5's the tranny is at the rear end [P

Yep, a big difference in C4 and C5!
You can see from the cutaway how the "frame" is on the C4, buried in the bodywork. You will probably be better off to just use the front clip with the rest custom built.
