Congrats on the sale.
A little late to the party but, I used an Even Williams fifth bottle on Peabody's 37 GMC as a puke bottle.

Congrats on the sale. You made a decent looking, and obviously desirable, car out of a really rough one. Looking forward to your next project.

I loved that car so much but it was like a ton of bricks was lifted from my shoulders. The fun started turning into work. 10 hours a day, 7 days a week at work and coming home to work on her in the driveway wasnt fun anymore. So i made a decision this morning to buy something i can drive now and enjoy, and start on the garage i didnt have time for, so i can take my time and build something ive been thinking about for years, and still have something i can take to cruise ins until i get the new one done. The guy who bought my 53 is now my parts hookup, and has a few things to pick from for sale.

Gmc?

I haven't posted for quite a while, searching for something different and I think I found it. It's supposed to be a 1962 gmc step van, but I've been searching for weeks trying to find out about it and can't find another like it on the internet. The entire body is fiberglass. I'd love some opinions on whether or not it's worth the $1000 the guy wants for it. It ran but broke a brake line and Sat for 10 years. I'm planning on another chassis and shortening it about 4 feet. Any comments will be appreciated.

Though not exactly the same, it reminds me of the one in the background of these photos that was at a hot rod photo shoot I went to a couple years ago. It was mostly fiberglass if I remember correctly. The owner mentioned that the curved windshield glass was literally impossible to find and he was having someone make new pieces at great cost (it has to be automotive safety glass).

It could be a cool project, as long as going in your realize that any unique pieces that have to be replaced will be non-existent and therefore will have to be made.
