i bartered for my new project in the winter of 04/05

stats:
1949 ford f6
239 ci flathead V8
2 ton truck
Gross Vehicle Weight - 15,500 lbs
24 ft long

plans:
"static drop"...
flip the rear axle from under the spring to over them
z the frame in front of and behind the front suspension
replace the wheels with non widow makers
197? - 198? Toyota 4X4 steering box (manual or power undecided)
Chevy fullsize van or truck steering coloum
truck will be straight "RAT"
 
the day i pulled it from the field behind my garage

Now, THAT IS COOL!! :D:D You are one brave man for sure, nothing on that truck weighs less than 100 pounds. The drop really is setting the stage for it to have a totally new look, can't wait to see more progress.
