Hello all, been lurking for a while, finally joined up.
Got an '49 Chevy 3600, keeping it straight 6. So far have rebuilt entire front end with an 4" stretched axle, power disc brakes, upgraded tie rods, gas shocks, 2 leaves removed from leaf pack, 15" smoothies powder coated red with 3" ww's.
Running gear is currently being swapped out w/ Chevy t-5 trans, 3.73 rear end w/drums (5 lug), 2" frame notch, axle flip, gas shocks, s10 sway bar, and possibly some lowering blocks to level it out.
Running a 216, electronic ignition, 12 volt conversion w/generator, wire harness swap.
There is a ton more that I am leaving out or forgetting about at the moment.
