Alright hopefully one of you can help me. My fan motor on my house ac doesn't shut off. I have to flip the breaker if I want it to stop. I just changed the thermostat thinking that it was somehow stuck on manual, but it still won't stop running. The outside ac unit works like it's supposed to. I changed the motor on the inside unit about 2 or 3 years ago and it has been working fine. What else should I check?

One other person told me to check the fan limit switch. What is this and where is it?

Please Help!

Woo Hoo! It just reached temp and shut off. I guess I just had to stare at it long enough to make it work.

Hopefully it comes back on!
