yes, I have been following your build

The sections I was referring to (about putting new fasteners in) was the two vertical seams on either side of the back window. We took them apart so we could get the rust sandblasted from between those parts (and the molding piece on the inside). Brian doesn't really want to weld those pieces back together, so I guess we are going to use stainless screws/nuts to put them back together (they were originally screws with square nuts on the inside)

On another note - I love the look of the black epoxy primer, it's got a great low-gloss sheen! I wish our metal wasn't so textured, or we'd leave it in the primer!
