DD is that what they call an "iron head".[S i just bought one in a basket sight un seen and have not received yet.
The bike is looking great [cl

The bike looks better than a lot of the "Build Off" show bikes. Nice work Doug.

Are you going to have a cheater cushion for the seat?

That's a big twin evolution motor. The iron head was a pre evolution sportster motor. Hard to start with a kicker.

Thanks guys, its only 1/2 together as of this picture. the seat and backrest go to the upholstery monday. wished I had the energy I had 40 yrs ago it would be done in a few days:p. I'm chomping at the bit to ride her.

DONE

OK been a little while.....Sorry but I can't get as much done as I use to.She is pretty much done, took her out for a spin yesterday. still have to finish the air cleaner, speedo cable, mount front fender, and stiffer springs in my shocks. this will be the last post in this build. I will be going back on my Ford truck to finsh it now. thanks to all who followed this build.[cl

I saw your build log..

....a few months ago, but have just read all the great details.

Yours was a challenging build.

I have just revived an old chopper project.

I plan on doing a trike like yours when done with this one.
