Just a question with zero criticism intended, what would happen in a car with the frame/body this low if you got a flat suddenly while cruising? I guess you just hope you never do?

It scrapes the pavement. The roadster pick up I'm building is below the scrub line too. My attitude is with all the other risks you take driving around in a roadster with virtually no safety equipment why worry about another risk that very seldom happens.

Never had a acquaintance die in a car or hot rod accident but I've had more that a few die riding motorcycles.

Kind of like when you don't plan on both airbags going flat a the same time [S
Only going about 35 mph, lots of noise and a bumpy stop

brakes.... do you really need them?

Got the brake pedal in with the right ratio. Just learned about pedal ratios and it should be right. Wilwood remote res is on the firewall. Tight fit but it looks like it will all work. Brake travel stops the pedal about 1/8 of an inch from the firewall. I will put a little platform heel rest in the right spot once I set up the go pedal.

Crate Motors

Didn't realize my crate engine had the plugs out to put a heater hoses in until I started filling fluids. Duh, ran right out on the floor.

Fabricator vs 7th Grader

Ok, So Bonehead is a great fab guy but in the 7th grade could he do this???

No, don't think so. Found this digging around tonight and opened a Corona with it, designed, manufactured and plated...stamped with my initials in 1967. Why would they allow 7th graders to make beer bottle openers at that age anyway??
