Default Smoking Rat Rod

Since there is no Rat Rod Smoker forum I'll just post here. I'm in charge of smoking briskets for Thanksgiving this year so I fired up the smoker at sun up this AM. No meat pics right now, nobody opens the smoker for at least 6 hours.

Any one else doing the cooking for Turkey Day?

Nope. (We celebrate Thanksgiving in October.)

Flipped your pic. Did you build it?

Mmmmmm love brisket, have built a few smokers over the years. Can't afford to cook brisket up here anymore, I priced one a couple months back and a 16lb one was $90.00

Don't give up, it's far too much fun once you can drive it.

I built one of those years ago, and the guys who bought it caught one of the tires on fire one day. Probably added a different flavor to the meat.
