Picked up this 56 Chevy last month. It's a 210 more-door hardtop which is fairly rare. I love this body style especially since I cant afford 2 door versions. It's out of AZ, so it is rock-solid, 1st one I wont have to do any floor repair really or any rot repair on the body at least. The fenders are off parts cars he had but not terrible to fix. Got a nice runnin 305/th350c with lock -up for good cruisin'. Brakes are all workin' and it's under it's own power now. I am trying to re-purpose used or "genuine Junk" parts as much as possible( keeps costs down). I am still under 2 grand so far and I have most of what I need. These cars are a pleasure to work on and it's been fun. Got a lot more to do but I enjoy it all. Enjoy the pics from draggin' home till now...

Looking good! The 56 and 57 hardtops are about the only 4 doors that look almost as good as a two door. Seen a few that I had to take a second look at after I noticed the rear door handles.

Yes sir, 4 door Sports Coupe is what gm called them.
They are great lookin cars.
There's one in my neck of the woods that takes trophies and awards all the time.

I've had many 2 doors and 4 doors both . I like them both the same . Now that the purists have picked the cream of the crop 2 doors , you will be seeing a lot more 4 door builds .

Look at them as a novelty and dare to be different .

There are already way more 4 doors. I got mine in 2004 because I wanted something different, and nobody wanted them. Now they're all over up here.

Moredoors have reached cool status. Just try to buy a new "full size" tudor. Even the kids what 4 doors on their cars.
