well guys we bought this bug for my niece i am hoping she will take a great interest in the car so far so good, she has bee sanding on the body! ,, car runs but need some TLC, this her first car so i want it to be a real good time for her!

ok well heres what happened!!,
1 what i want !
2 what she wants
3 the compermize
4 if i had more time!!!

I say.....give her what she wants. She'll stay more interested and love her car, and you'll be a hero.

I agree with Gastrick do the work yourself and you could get it done. I'm about to go through the same thing with my granddaughter so I know how you feel. I wanted to get her an older chevy, malibu, camaro, something like that. She likes tuners( don't know where that comes from) . So I got her a Mercury tracer gonna slick it out debadge it maybe flames not sure. But she wants white with pink flames, we're still disscussing that. HA HA

I had a '66 similar to your #1 in high school. The body was 60% rust, the battery dropped through the floor onto the road, and if you stood behind it while it was running, it would throw droplets of oil via the exhaust onto your pant legs....but that was one of my favorite cars.

I got rear-ended by an Explorer, but the s.o.b. still ran! I sold it for $450, and saw it still running around 2 years later.
