49 Stude, east TN rat rod.

I pulled this out of the woods, after i had no money and my other car caught fire.
Its a 1949 studebaker 1 ton tow truck, from what i can tell was FACTORY?

I can not for the life of me find a VIN plate on this truck, it wasnt on the org. frame or the cab.

Its my "frank-n-truck"

49 stude cab/front end.
Will have a flat bed made out of cherry.
ford 302,holley 4brl 600.
ford 9in rear,
72 ford F100 frame, disc breaks up front, drum in back.
B&M 3spd slap stick will be the shifter, on a automatic c6.
and other creative morbid monster ideas! wish me luck gents!

Ive done some updates since recent pics of the inside were took.

Now im about to go chop off the old ford body mounts and weld up some other things.

maybe flip the door latches to fab up suicide doors!

More updates on the home front

Well, Ive been slacking the summer away and not working on the truck, well the last week I've been diggin in like a zombie.
I have a buddy helping me out we have worked on it 3 days in a row now.
This link below is to a grid view of the updates of the truck, pulled off wheels and checked front hubs and bearings, no noise and they turn without any issues, break pads were good shape with 80% left on them, the calipers need cleaned and put back on.

ALL break lines and parts NEED to be replaced.

I got in the trans member tonight, starting on rear tomorrow
