new from north east ohio

hi I'm new to the site here. just getting started on my first hot rod its whats left of a 45 dodge pickup that i drug home a couple of month ago.
the plan is to chop the rot from the bottom oof the cab roughly 10in and change it down over a 2x4 frame. i have a 4bt that will power it with a 3pedal trans behind that.
already got the disc brake swap figured out just need to make the brackets out of steel and got a pretty cool set of spoke wheels for the front as well.

Thank you for giving me ideas about the old brakes on my '46 Dodge car. I thought I had to keep them stock, but maybe not, eh. There are pieces missing.
