starting the voyage on a 46 dodge brothers truck. Have the cab, an extra door, and a vision. Thinkin cummins power plant, 9" rearend, custom frame. The first bump ok at is how much to chop. Initial thought was 4" under rear window 3 from windshield. Any thoughts?

I'd start with some serious bracing... what are your plans for the top? are you leaning the front pillars back or splitting the roof or?

I wouldn't recommend cutting the back more than the front. I don't think that type of chop looks right on these trucks. If you want to do a sloped chop, cut the windshield more than the back, but not the other way.
