51 oldsmobile super 88 rocket. picked it up for next to nothing. its my first chop. lucky enough to have a couple guys showing me hands on w the metal working. im in love with it haha. chopped 4 in the front and 6 in the back. leaving it stock looking on the outside. im gonna bag it all around w a 2 link/panhard setup in the rear. i have the original hubcaps that go w it as well. i have no idea if the motor turns but ill cross that bridge when i get there.

It's not that hard to find an Olds motor to use. How about a 455? Just saying you can't swing a dead cat without hitting something with a small block chevy in it.
 
nice work on the C pillar cover. Someone has some metal fab skills in the shop![P
 
pics of lid and rear c pillar cover. Alson decided to make a fresh frame from scratch to get the car to lay rockers when aired down.

Used to race

In the 1950's the Olds was a pretty quick car we dragged them and raced on the back dirt roads. I had a 1952 torpedo Olds stick and that thing was fast in 1950 standards of course. Nice cars all of them
