I'm really liking the way it's looking and I think it will still look decent even after the inevitable nicks and scratches after using it for what I'm building it for. Hunting and playing in the rough country and woods.

I've had a couple of people tell me it looks too bulky. I don't see it but to each his own. I looks "rock ready" to me.

That bumper will facilitate easy access to the bed and looks Jeep tough! Fine job!

Progress.....

Slowly getting things done.

I got the grille put together today. The cross bars are in good shape except for the top one. I took it to Albuquerque to get it rechromed but after going to 3 different shops I decided it's good enough for a driver and brought it home for installation. $95.00 AND 6 WEEK!!!! [S[S

IT AIN'T NO SHOW TRUCK.

I know you need it for the truck, but that would be a terrific piece of wall art.

Man that looks good! It's called 'vintage' chrome - if you had gotten it plated, it would have made the rest of the bars look bad...

You must be reading my mind Bob. I was thinking that same thing when I was installing the lights and checking their functionality.

I'm going to see if I can come up with one for a wall hanger.

You are right as rain there ZZ. I'm just going to polish it up a little and maybe rub a little wax on it and call it good.

Sounds weird but, a coke and a ball of aluminum foil rubbed over the top bar will cover most of the problems. Or just leave it because it looks fine to me.

Still after it.....

I got the radiator and overflow tank in place on the grille today. Makes a tidy package that's ready to put in place soon.

Then I decided I'd use the space behind the steering column for the fuse block.
That will make for easy access with a removable panel to hide it.

Installed the steering column and almost ready for the fun of wiring this thing. I'm one of those that enjoys the process. [S[S
