Josh,
I'm sure Gastrick can point you to some of that stuff, he's working on a tri-5 right now. Building a tri-5 can be an expensive proposition but then they are worth alot when finished too!

Josh, As far as parts availability goes, a tri-five Chevy is a good choice for a project. It's to the point that you can pretty much build an entire car from scratch just by purchasing parts from the various suppliers. That being said, places or individuals such as satanherself are a good source for solid used parts. As far as new parts, there are numerous suppliers. Below are a couple of the popular outlets. Beware, these new parts can get expensive, but at least you will know where to get them. If you want more, just ask and I'll add them, but these should give you an idea.

There are also forums dedicated to tri-five (55,56,57) Chevrolets. Here's a link to one that my brother is a member of. There is plenty of information there for you. Take a look around there.

And finally, like Rattler said, we are putting together a 55 Chevy for my brother right now. It's basically the same car as your 56. Here's a like to the build from right here on RRR over in the builds section. Hope some of this helps.
