When putting the bed on the frame does it have to have bushing mounts or can it be welded/ bolted to frame

It can be bolted to the frame. I wouldn't weld it. You can do a little rubber pad to eliminate squeaking.

It doesn't need any bushings, you can bolt it directly to the frame. It's really your preference if you want to put a thin rubber pad between the box and the frame. I wouldn't weld it on, you never know if you're going to need to remove it.

The reason cabs and car bodies have rubber bushings is to keep the engine and road noises out of the passenger compartments.
With the others on this one about not welding, just bolt it on.

He started out with nothing, he still has most of
I bolted angle iron to the bed and then bolted that to my frame .. easy to remove that way
