well guys , i know yall aint heard much out of me lately, because i have had the builder blues!!! and also the pontiac been doin good as a daily drive but, i got something to wash those blues away today!
i been after these trucks for years, and the guy wouldnt come down so i could get ! well i ran into him at the store, and asked him again and he came down far enuff to get so here they are, 2 trucks one frame and a 350 motor!! going to build the one thats closes to complete as a full truck, and the parts truck like my old 46 ford was but a little differnt this time! anyways tell me what yall think , will get better pics later it was getting dark , i waited 5 hour for the guy to show up! but i got em!!!:D

In my humble opinion Rev that was a wait well worth it. Those are some awesome bones to start with dude. Keep us posted on this build.

Gotta love those deco front ends! I've always love them & that's how I wound up with my '41 Chev panel. They're beautiful & will wash da blues away!!! :D:D:D

thanks guys , i am feeling better already! :D funny how a rusty mold junker can make ya feeling, yester day i just sat on the front porch and pondered the possiblities! MAN! what good therapy!:D

looks like i am going to have to change may status, !! FROM , HES WOrkin for the lord in a 46 ford, !! TO" Hes working for the Son in a Chevy 41!! :D

well got a couple things done, got my rack and pinion mounted and got a steering colum, its from a 60,s model caddy, 35.00 telescopic tilt, and the rack is from a grand prix rack 35.00 also.

ive actually spent the entire day sitting on a bucket just looking and planning, alot of thought goes into these things.:confused:
 
i agree w/ya there rev-you and the junk magnet aren't the only one's who've sat and ponered the possibilities of a rat project.....
my 52 went thru about a year of "stare-downs" and gawkings before i ever started whittlin'

btw- since you are now "working for the Son in a chevy 41" i would like to borrow the "working for the Lord in a 46 ford":p:D
 
Rev you are making some reall good progress. The truck is lookin nice.

I think for me the best ponderin I did was to put the seat on the frame and just sit there. Sure I made some motor sounds too but man did some great ideas roll through my head!
