This our project for this week. Mounting old fuel tanks on truck then trying to make it look like Old Sinclair tank wagon.:):)

Sweet project.

Reminds me of a story my Grandad would tell about How in the early teens, He'd get a ride on the ESSO gasoline delivery wagon to go to school. Yeah Wagon--Team of mules-- Apparently they didn't expect the internal combustion thing to catch on.. :)

Those mules probably didn't backfire and catch on fire much.

That's gonna be cool. Remember to post the after pics. Is it going to be driven or is it just a shell for advertising?
 
Finishing up our Build

After about a month of cutting out about 2 feet of the tank and rewelding and grinding and sanding and taking dents out of and painting and sanding a run out of and replacing the wood frame under tank and wire brushing and painting truck frame we are about to finish our project. Need to fasten down, mount pipes on tank and fix 1 tire. :):)

The restaurant I ate at today had an original Sinclair dinosaur in the window. That is in amazing condition. Can't wait to see it finished.
