yet another project

As if I didn't have enough projects to work on (this must be a disease) I've brought home yet another project. It's a 1972 Buick Riviera. Couldn't resist... I've always liked this body style. 455-4BBL engine, 108,000 miles, minimal rust, and it runs. Needs some interior work (headliner) but otherwise pretty nice car

Sweet old ride--I always wanted one too. In 76 I was wrenching at a 3 stall shop and put a timeing chain on one of those boat tails--It had 2-4s!!! I think Factory..

The second carb was not opening up so I 'Fixed' it ----Any who--I 'test' drove it and blew it up! Smoked the crank. Oiling problem I suppoze. That second carb would come in at 60 and it would JET to 100 NOW! (well-it did for 5 or 6 times). Hard to explain to my boss and to the customer. I didn't get fired though..
