Did a little play off a video I saw on youtube with the suspension. Never seen it done otherwise. I must say, it rides pretty **** good. Gonna do some refab on the front canti bars. Now that I have the pivot points pretty well mapped out, I can go back and make some rad drilled and sleeved arms. This car was built by my twin brother and I, both 24 yrs old, after hours at the hot rod shop we work at. Took 2 1/2 months of extremely late nights, and a crazy 56 hr straight cram fest at the finish. We built the chassis starting with a pair of backhalf rails for a 67 firebird that I had lying around the shop from Art Morrison. Stretched them and went at it. Dash is from a 51 ford, zz4 crate motor that was lying around, along with a 700r4. Now I know i do have some nicer parts on this car, but what do you do when you work at a street rod shop and have tons of rad parts lying aroud? Why you throw them all together and start welding. The car is not near finished. Gonna finish the chop this month. Had to go back and fix a bunch of stuff that somebody before me did to the body. Horrible metal work, if thats what you can call it. Ive gotten the rear chop pretty well lined out. We cut out 2.5 inches, 1.25 inches on each side of his crap work. But either way, it needed to be chopped more. Let me know what you think. There is lots more to come. Gonna try and be different with this one. I threw in a shot of the body right before we got started....she was gutted.
