Default How to remove my trunk lock cylinder?

While working on the junky old trunk lid I got for my '56 Ford, I realized I'll need to replace the lock cylinder, as I have no key for the one currently in the lid. I saw where the way to remove it is by turning the key 1/8 turn, then depressing the small pin. Well, as I don't have the key, I'm stumped. Does anyone out there know how to get the lock cylinder out without having the key to turn the cylinder?

Yep, I had to do that with a car that I bought that had no trunk key. Locksmith was able to make me one to fit it by me taking the whole lock assembly in to his shop.
