Nah
Not even my first antique one.
But the weight ,gearing and tires i chose make it more capable than the others

Nice ride. Years ago when I lived in Northern Indiana a guy in a 4WD group I played with had one with a PTO powered winch on the front. When somebody got stuck he was the go to guy for pulling them out. I once saw him attach to a RR bridge and pretty much pick his whole truck up. At least all four wheels were off the ground.

think i broke something in the front axle.
A loud bang coming home last night
Gonna go open it up for a look see.
4f and windless

Looks like one of the aftermarket locking hubs broke.
So i installed the original full time 4 wheel drive hubs.
Sometime when i am bored i will examine the broken hub.
But i aint in a hurry

It's been a while, but I used to run light white (Lubriplate) grease in part-time and/or "automatic" 4WD hubs. Axle grease is too heavy and causes the hub to stick in cold temps.

If you know this already, kindly disregard this post.

.

The superwinch locking hub malfunctioned due to operator error.
From the installation manual
WARNING USE OF GREASE WILL VOID WARRANTY
So of course there is a lot of grease in em

am not too torn up about it.
That grease is hard at the temperatures we get here.
Today i will thaw them out
Clean em up
And see if anything is actually broken
Replacement isnt too expensive
