Hey BillM

This is a really cool build...the car kinda has that late 1960's oval track modified stock car look to it...fenderless and all...I love it...
Keep up the great work...going on 3 years on this build...I get bored after about 12 months on the same project...
keep diggin..Looks great...

Sorry about your dad...mine has been gone since 2001...still miss him bunches..

Well, it's been a while, but I've made a little progress. Picked up a few pieces recently - fuel cell, filler cap, some little bits and pieces I've needed for a while. I've pretty well finished up with "roughing things in" and am getting ready for primer, seam sealer and insulation on the inside. I made up the templates for all the glass today. Hopefully I'll get them to the glass shop sometime this week.

It's Honda glass. Cheap, readily available but turns opaque when it comes in contact with something cool...

Thanks for the comments everyone! It keeps me going....

Made some progress today, but boy was it cold! Even with the woodstove cranking, I was only able to get it up to about +5C.

The window templates are done, marked and ready to go to glass shop. My uncle (the model A owner) helped out (as always) with cleaning up the window tracks, and had a brilliant idea for a frame mod I need to make. Also pictured is where I think I'll put the filler neck and gas tank. There's a bit of a concern over running the filler hose (getting enough drop) but I think it's going to work out.
