UAntique Archaeology in Nashville

We stopped in Hurricane Mills, Tn for the night...we did 358 miles today and the Mercury did great, we were very blessed with a good day on the road.

Some serious preplanning is apparent here. This is fun.

Not really...we planned to stay in Nashville but just kept going...I prefer the rural environment over the urban sprawl.

We spent several hours at Graceland, I was skeptical but it was really good.

Sorry they are out of order but I'm beat and hitting the shower.

We left Conway, AR this morning and drove hard in the cool of the day until we hit Route 66 at 1:30 today in Oklahoma City, it was 90 and the Mercury was struggling with the heat in the city so we headed on through El Reno, Yukon and stopped at Weatherford, OK which is a cool little 66 town.









I know it doesn't look like much but this shot was a big deal for us, it was the first time we pulled onto 66.
