I bought this as a basket case back in the late 90's. Soon after it was finished my wife kinda claimed it and it's still her daily driver. She's only put about 60K miles on it but it's had periodic updates over the years. Earlier this year I installed fuel injection from FITech. It has a 400 with a 700R4 behind it and the 3.08 rear gears make it really freeway friendly.

Your wife knows a cool ride when she sees one.
How do you like the FItech????

I like the FITech overall. I also used their fuel station which connects to the mechanical pump and boosts the pressure, it works well. I didn't dyno it but seat of the pants dyno shows a significant performance improvement over the factory manifold and Q-jet carb. I used a Weiand square bore manifold which probably has something to do with that too. Mileage didn't improve much if at all.

The installation was straightforward but I did have to run a return line back to the tank despite what the instructions said.
