This will take a little fabrication to make work depending on your application

I stumbled across this one while working on my 1950 Chevy Styleline that I am swapping over to a caprice chassis. When I was stripping the caprice I noticed that the wiper switch wasn't on the column :D

So further investigation lead me to a variable speed wiper setup with washer, with a dash mounted switch... all this can be had at a local part yard for under $40... so if you are looking to add wipers to your ride really cheap, this is an option. I will post more on the installation as I proceed. My cost was included in the purchase of the 1983 caprice I am using, but you should be able to score this low at any bone yard...

Good tip! My 83 C-10 also has a dash switch. A sideways lever switch with high and low only and push for washer...

I used a rear hatch wiper from a 90s Ford Escort in my 38. The unit is very flat and fit up over the windshield nicely. Wired it to a '70-something Ford PU wiper switch. About $40 total at the U-Pull it. Cut down the arm, as far as I could and still get a wiper on it. New 10-inch blade was about $10. OUCH!
