I've never seen this build til now!!!! What the Heck!? It's gonna look killer. Cut down the front grill and incorporate it into the nose. Keep the front bumper too if you can - the 3 bumperettes are cool.

Somehow I've missed your progress on this! Looking like you are making a bunch of progress here...[cl

Looks like a hippo yawning in this view :D

little more;

wow, l never realized how many freakin' bolts hold those 4Oish mopars together, 2 hours of pulling out bolts trying to get the nose off and l still have a handful to get off.

positive side, the door came of easily(broken top hinge helped) so l could get to some bolts inside.

l try not to butcher thing in case some one needs the parts, otherwise l'd just cut a hole in the fenders so l can get to the bolts l need to remove.

hate cutting up good parts, any suggestions?

today

got the front seat out, made it easy when 1/2 the floor comes with it and ya don't have to unbolt anything.

the dash is being a pain, flat fhead screws that are stuck in place and just keep rounding off,,, other than trying to cut them off/out,,any ideas[S

thanks mike,,,

ya l was thinking that if the other method D.R mentioned don't work.

gonna go work on it some when it warms up, let ya know if l got'em out or just got P'0ed and took a break from the dash and worked on something else, like cleaning all the rubber & cloth left over from when l stripped the interior.

hey sam,,,

was gonna go with the grille idea, but A dude called and made me A offer on the whole nose l just can't pass up.

like to keep the grille but $$$$ speaks loud when the budget is small.

AND he is gonna remove the nose so l don't even have to turn a wrench and it will be off so l can get the front 1/2 of the body sat on the chassis soon.

l love it when a plan comes together:D

extreeeeme mocking

pulled the deck lid and lights off. then kinda sorta stuck the back 1/2 on the chassis today.

getting a buddy coming over to help, hard to pull on both sides of the body on by yourself.

still gotta figure where l want the back tires to fit in the wheelwell.

the look l'm going for is still a long way away, but getting closer[;)

one door

l got the driver side door skinned and it's not going to need very much of the rear doors to fill in the quarter panel area, maybe 3'' or 4''

we moved the chassis out front, that way l can get it off the trailer and get more done before the crappy weather gets here soon.

red

went searching thru my stockpile of paint and supplies, came up with a ton of bondo left over from previous projects and a gallon of arrest me red, a gallon of viper red and all the primer surfacer l should need:D

QUESTION; a 2 tone red body splitting the color where the chrome ran 0R should l mix the 2 since it's the same brand and see what color red l get and make it one color?

paint on the chassis will be a silver or black.

helps being a packrat.

fun

now the fun begins,

once it's on the ground, the real work starts.

here are a few pics that are good shots of the chassis to get a better idea of what l am starting with.

l didn't like the pics of it sitting out back, like these a lot more.

 Holy cow, is that a 'Zombie Cat' I see in that one bunch of pics! :D

I'm liking the way this thing is headed...... pics show it in a couple different locations in the mock up but I like it with the rear wheel way up in the front of the fenderwell for that tail heavy look.
