Truck is a 1968 ford ranger had 100000 miles on it when I got it paid 1000.00 for it

The cars a 1967 ford,my older brother bought it in 1968 it was a RCMP car we took the decals off the doors. I got it when he was finished with it had a lot of fun in it . The RCMP liked it so much that they pulled me over at least twice a night just to look in it

I used to have one of those...`67 galaxy500 ht. 390 auto. I`ve always loved the looks but it handled like a wet newspaper [S

That's cool! 390 power?

My first full-time employer had a '67 Pontiac Laurentian, also a former RCMP car, also a 2 door post sedan. 396 powered, "certified calibration" printed on the speedo face. The speed indicator would light a Pontiac Indian logo, front and center above the certified calibration print. (60 MPH if memory serves me.)

That same employer had a much younger brother-in-law (my age) working for him at the time. The brother-in-law and myself tested the car on numerous occasions... you know, to see who could light the indicator in the shortest distance. [ddd

Sorry for the hijack. I have other RCMP car stories but I'll shut it off here and Thank You for bringing those memories back! [cl

This one was 289 could make a lot of noise with dual exhaust coming out in front of the rear wheels with 10.00 thrush mufflers but not much power
