27-28 T Roadster D/GS/ GP

My son,(,Billy), and my G/S ,( Cooper) , and I,, (Granpa) are going to build this 27-28 T R/PU as a fathers/ son granson. project

we have had the body for awhile,, My son Billy started doing a little work on it a while back and other things took priority,$$$$$ so it went on the back burner for awhile,
Now something more important has come up that we have decided that its important to get started on it once again

My G/S Cooper is nearly 8Y/O loves hotrods and everything mechanical.. just like his dad and I do.
Just recently Cooper was diognosed with ADD, which his dad is also,, so its not new to our family,, They prescribed some kind of potent drug for Cooper to take.. It made a zomby out of him,, so that lasted 3 days,, and we decided we weren't gonna do the meds thing like we did with His Dad (Billy)
he took meds , and it almost distroyed his life.. and ours
So now Coops, Billys and my therpy is , focosing the energy somewhere other than taking meds .and build this together.
So this is where we are at the present. Planning a Quarter eplic suspension front and rear, no P/U bed. only a round type gas tank in the rear, nailhead buick ,etc

Looks like you are off to one heck of a start! I really like the way the frame follows the corners of the body.

Thanks flipper,, if you notice the U shapped piece on the table and the markings on the back of the body,, That piece will weld to the frame at that point and up against the body with the Quarter Eplic springs coming off that about where it angles toward the center, with triangulated bars below that,,
so the rearend will look like its just hung out there in space,with a round Gas tank between the R/E and the body.. thats the plan at this point,, might have to revise it some, but??????????????????

I've been following your Roofus specal build over at HR.C quite the build,, lots of inguenuty going into that one love it,, like reading a suspense novel,,, can't wait to get back to it to see what has happened,

Billy and Cooper have been doing a little layout, on the 27,, he can't decide if he wants a 4 or 6" kick up for the front,, tacked in a 4" but I'm thinking it needs a 6"

Clamped the back upright on to see how that idea is gonna work,,??????????? I can see right away that it needs to follow the rear of the body more,
we want to use Quarter Epiclipic springs on the back mounted with the eye point up,,
